PMBOK

PMBOK is the desktop book of project managers all over the world. It was used as a basis for the development of the international standard ISO 21500 and the American national standard ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008. It is the most widely used body of project management knowledge in over 200 countries. In addition, PMBOK is the basis for the most common certification of project managers PMP (English Project Management Professional).

The seventh version of the book differs from the previous ones in that it was based not on processes, but on principles. This radically changed the structure and approach to project management in general. The seventh version of the PMBOK Guide is available in English, Arabic, French, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Chinese, and from the beginning of 2022 in Ukrainian.

Intellias sponsored the Ukrainian translation of the seventh version of the international project management standard Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

The translation took place during the year (from 2021 to 2022) with the involvement of volunteers and experts of the public organization Project Management Institute (PMI Ukraine Chapter) and the International translation service “Filin” under the sponsorship of the Intellias company. PMI approved a number of initiatives to support project management in Ukraine. Among them is the release of the PMBOK 7th edition in Ukrainian on the PMI Ukraine website.

From now on, every member of the professional community of Ukrainian project managers can use the main PMI document for free.
